Authority Pro 2 is the brand new WordPress theme from Bryan McConnahea and Alex Goad. Authority Pro Version 1 was initially launched back in November 2010. Since then it’s been completely rebuilt from the ground up and a whole heap of new features have been included.
I was initially drawn to Authority Pro because of its appearance, there’s no denying that it’s a sexy looking theme…it didn’t take me long to realize that the appearance was only the beginning. As I started using the theme I realized that along with its good looks it also incorporates numerous features that are usually expensive add-ons…more on these later.
I did have my problems initially though and there’s still one important thing that’s missing from Authority Pro 2.0…a fast track setup guide which explains how to put the finishing touches on your website…
It took me weeks to fully understand the finer aspects of AP2.0…luckily, you can avoid all that lost time.

First I want to tell you more about Authority Pro 2.0 and why it’s a tool you NEED in your weapon shed.
These day’s internet marketing has developed to a place where you need good looking websites. People searching the web won’t settle for anything less…I’ve done tests on this and good looking websites hold your visitors attention and reduce the “bounce rate”…all which helps you nail down top SEO rankings.

It took me hours to figure out how to install Authority Pro, how to change the settings to make it look how I wanted, and how to use the “Advanced Features”…
It took me many more hours to solve AWeber integration issues…
And it took many more hours to figure out how to use all the advanced functions inside AP2.0…

Appearance of Authority Pro 2.0
The first critical component is good looks. Authority Pro 2.0 has them and I’d even go as far to say that Authority Pro 2.0 is the most attractive WordPress theme on the market right now.
When I bought Authority Pro 1 back in November 2010, I was in the process of upgrading my internet marketing blog. I was spending a lot of time exploring different WordPress themes and even considered getting a custom theme developed. You see, I wanted to create a website I could be proud of from a visual perspective.
Authority Pro absolutely gives me that.

Flexibility and Customization of Authority Pro 2.0
Earlier in this review I mentioned that flexibility and customization are not only key components, but “must have” aspects of any WordPress theme that I’d pay money for.
The good news is, AP2.0 is super flexible.
Here are a few of the things you can change in a matter of seconds to make your site look totally different:
- The background color – choose any color at all or upload a background image
- The general layout – choose between “magazine style” or “blog style”, 1 column or 2 columns, column widths, sidebar position (left or right) and more…
- Text size – choose the size you want your in page text, H3 text, H2 text, H1 text, sidebar text, link text….every piece of text on your website can be formatted EXACTLY how you want it to be.
- Text color – choose any color of the rainbow from the built in color wheel. You can choose a different color for different types of text, your imagination is the only limiting factor here.
- Text font – choose from a huge list of fonts or stick with the default settings
- Page border – change the width of the page border, the color of the border, if the border has rounded corners or square corners and the gap between the border and the top of the page…also, if you don’t want a border, just click the “no border” button!
- Header images – upload any image at the click of a button or decide to use no image at all.
- Widget positions – there’s more widget positions in Authority Pro 2 than you can imagine…this is one of the strongest parts of the theme and no other theme comes close to giving you as much freedom and flexibility with regards to widget positions than Authority Pro.
- Sidebars – customize the look and feel of your sidebars, again, this can be done by “point and click”!
There are many more things that can customized which you’ll discover in the ProStart Pack…for now just know that flexibility and customization is what Authority Pro is all about! You don’t need to worry about anyone else having the “same website” as you because using AP2 there are 1000’s of ways to make your website unique.
Ease of Use of Authority Pro 2.0
I’ve been mastering this theme for 6 months now and it’s easy FOR ME to use. It wasn’t always so straightforward however.
